The place is soo beautiful , we really enjoyed our time there , and the reason I gave 4 stars because of the maintenance and the service as after spending many hours in the water and got wet I went to the rest rooms to wash and change my clothes. The rest rooms were terrible so dirty, smelly and no water at all if they charge 400 peso per person at least they should provide a decent service .
A must to experience in Quirino,those rapids are thrilling , suspense, exciting. Go for rubber tubing and caving ,and cliff diving .700 pesos per head for all water activities
Water sports such as boating, swimming, rafting, and other water activities are permitted. Cottages are also available for storing your belongings. This attraction is best visited during the summer when the waters are clear and safe for water activities. They provide a tour guide for a reasonable fee who can also serve as a photographer for group photos or selfies and, of course, can serve as your life guard even though you are provided with a life vest.
Well, I love the spot, especially when you visit with friends, family, and loved ones. For my part, I believe it was all worthwhile.
This is one of the must-gos in Quirino. It's pretty saddening that this province has not had much recognition, but this is one of those places which makes Quirino an underrated gem.

Governor’s Rapids in Maddela is definitely one of the most visited tourist destinations in Quirino. It is part of the Cagayan River, the longest river system in the Philippines, so natural beauty and rock formations can be found here. You can’t leave the province without trying its own version of water tubing and rafting. Hearing them shouting while holding onto the tube is proof that they are enjoying it, hhmm, maybe. Other parts of the tour are hidden falls, a cliff jump, and a Tarzan swing.
A wonderful way to spend your afternoon... in a boat on the river. The guides were terrific. A lot of fun for us all!
Loved how it was so easy doing this trip. No. Hassle whatsoever. The place any nature lover's haven. Peace and quiet. We did a DIY trip. Rented a tricycle for 2 and it was breeze..
